Deputy District Election Officer Kathua Chand Kishore Sharma today visited tehsils Marheen and Dinga Amb and held detail review of the progress made under National Electoral Roll Purification ( NERP) programme of Election Commission of India.Tehsildar Marheen, Naib Tehsildar Dinga Amb, Naib Tehsildar Marheen, Booth Level Officers attended the meeting.DDEO Kathua took detail review of the progress made under the electoral roll purification and directed the officers to ensure the completion of the task before 31st August 2016.DDEO also directed the booth level officers to ensure error free data while enrolling new voters. He also passed directions to involve PRI’s representatives in the process of purification to minimize errors.
