Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr Pawan Kotwal chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for the holy month of Ramzan here at Jammu today.Among others, the meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Simrandeep Singh, Additional Commissioner Jammu Rehana Batool.During the meeting, Divisional Commissioner impressed upon the concerned officer to ensure adequate arrangements so that that people do not face any inconvenience during the month of Ramzan. He directed the officers of PDD to ensure regular power supply during the holy month especially during Sehri and Iftaar.Div Com stressed on notifying and keeping the general public informed about the curtailment schedules so that they are prepared beforehand .Dr Kotwal further instructed PHE to ensure adequate supply of water in all areas of Jammu. He further instructed the PHE department to remove illegal abstractions and consumption of electricity from dedicated feeders meant for essential services in Jammu city and disconnecting the same to prevent pilferages and breakdown of their systems.
