Aryans College of Engineering, Chandigarh organized a seminar on “Advancement in experimental high energy Physics” for B.Tech students. Mr Vipin Bhatnagar, Asstt. Professor, Deptt. of Physics, Panjab University (Chandigarh) was the key note speaker. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans College of Engineering presided over the seminar. Dr. P. B. Mahapatra, Director, Aryans College of Engineering also spoke on the occasion. It is to be mentioned that Mr Bhatnagar is involved in the High energy experiment which is being conducted at CERN, Geneva for the discovery of HIGGS BOSON.He discussed about the research going on HIGGS Particle which is also known as GOD Particle which has been invented in 1st week of JULY 2012 at GENEVA. He added that in actual the HIGGS PARTICLE is a boson, a type of particle that allows multiple identical particles to exist in the same place in the same quantum state.Mr Bhatnagar also interacted with students related to Internet, APRA NET(Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) and History of ‘www’(world wide web). Explaining the students about the history of Internet, he said that Internet was not invented by any company but by the research students only. It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans campus is located at Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20 acres pollution free campus. The group is running Management College, Engineering College, Education College, Nursing College & Junior Science College (+1 & +2 Non Medical).
