Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) on Friday staged a demonstration at Press Enclave here, demanding transfer of Director Education Shah Faesal and registration of FIR against him.The protestors led by EJAC spokesperson Farooq Trali, accused Faesal of “arson, mischief, criminal trespass and theft.”Dozens of chiefs of different associations were part of the protest.“We are governed by rule of law and not by the rule of man. Everyone is bound to follow the law of land. Shah Faesal has become a dictator. We on behalf of 4.5 lakh employees of the state condemn his criminal acts,” Trali told CNS.He added that EJAC will hold massive protests on February 29, to demand transfer of Faesal from education department and registration of FIR against him.

He said they have lodged a complaint under Section 156 CrPc against Faesal for “arson, mischief and criminal trespass.”“We are also writing a letter to concerned SP under section 156 (1) CrPc. If need arises, we will move to court,” he added.“Shah Faesal is behaving like a kid, not as a director or an IAS officer. Yesterday, he barged into Teachers Forum office in DIET Bemina by slamming open the lock and tearing the banners that were hanging on the walls, and locking open the locker and then burnt our files,” alleged the protestors. The protestors accused Faesal of violating their fundamental rights.“Right to have unions, associations and offices is our fundamental right. But the Director Education is violating our fundamental rights. He is misusing and abusing his power,” alleged Trali.“Government has given him power and position. This power and position is trust of people but by misusing and abusing his power and position, Director Education has created criminal breach of trust,” he said. (CNS)
