DDC Srinagar reviews developmental works

District Development Commissioner Srinagar Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone today conveyed a meeting of officers of various government departments to review status of ongoing developmental works in the district. The District Development Commissioner stressed on officers to complete the ongoing developmental projects within the stipulated time. He asked the officers to submit report of ongoing works under their respective departments.Dr. Lone directed the officers to ensure expeditious execution of developmental works and work in a coordinated way to extend the desired benefits to the people. He impressed upon effective utilization of funds besides removing bottlenecks hindering developmental works. The meeting was attended by officers of Power Development, Health, Housing & Urban Development, JKPCC and Srinagar Municipal Corporation.
