Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized a Blood Donation Camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Sector 15-D, today. The camp was inaugurated by Bn. Joginder Kaur Ji, Member Incharge, Parcharak Training Camps, Seminars and Branch Administration, Sant Nirankari Mandal. While inaugurating the camp, Bn. Joginder Kaur Ji stated, “The purpose of the camp is to bring a spirit of brotherhood and strengthen human bonds. The blood donation camps are organised to spread the message of His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj that human blood should flow in veins and not in drains”In the camp, 334 donated blood, including 22 women. 

A team 20 doctors and nurses from PGIMER, Chandigarh headed by Dr. Puneet Sachdeva conducted the camp. Dr. Sachdeva said, “We are thankful to the mission for organizing such camps on regular intervals as this is how we meet the demands of our patients.” He added, “Since there is a lurking fear of dengue, it also helps fulfill our need of blood platelets.” Dr. BS Cheema Ji, Zonal Incharge, Chandigarh, Sant Nirankari Mandal said, “It is the selfless service to humanity and dedication towards the mission that brings people here to serve. “Out of the 18 camps that started 24th April, 2015 for Chandigarh Zone, for the year 2015-2016, this is the 14th camp,” Cheema Ji added.Also present at the event were Sh. Mohinder Singh Ji, Sanyojak Sant Nirankari Mandal Chandigarh and S.S. Banga Ji, Local Mukhi and all Sewadal Adhikari volunteers, Sector 15 and Sector 40.
