ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰੀਕਲ, ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰੋਨਿਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਅਲਾਈਡ ਹੈਲਥ ਸਾਇੰਸਜ਼ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਬੈਚਾਂ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟਸ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਐਲੂਮਨੀ ਮੀਟ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਇਵੈਂਟ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਕਸਦ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਮੁੜ ਜੁੜਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਕਨੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ।
ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਆਰਬੀਯੂ ਦੇ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ, ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਈਸ-ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ: ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਲੂਮਨੀ ਨੇ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੇ ਤਜ਼ਰਬੇ, ਸੂਝ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਚ 2011-2015 ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਲਰ ਡੈਸਟੀਨੇਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਚ 2014-2018 ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਲ ਐਂਡ ਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੀਫ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ ਹੈ।
ਡੀਨ ਡਾ: ਅਨਮੋਲ ਗੋਇਲ, ਵਿਭਾਗ ਮੁਖੀ, ਈ.ਆਰ. ਸੋਨਲ ਸੂਦ, ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰੀਕਲ ਅਤੇ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰੋਨਿਕਸ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਈਸ-ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ: ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਸਰਪ੍ਰਸਤੀ ਹੇਠ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ ਅਲਾਈਡ ਹੈਲਥ ਸਾਇੰਸਿਜ਼ ਨੇ ਹਾਈਬ੍ਰਿਡ ਮੋਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਲੂਮਨੀ ਮੀਟ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅਲੂਮਨੀ ਮੀਟ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਯੂਐਸਏਐਚਐਸ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਡਾ ਪੰਕਜ ਕੌਲ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ’ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਇਬਤਿਸਾਮ ਨਜ਼ੀਰ ਖਾਨ, ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ, ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਐਸਏਐਚਐਸ ਦੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾਦਾਇਕ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਾਈਡ ਹੈਲਥ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਰਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ, ਖਜ਼ਾਨਚੀ, ਯੂਐਸਏਐਚਐਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ, ਨੇ ਯੂਐਸਏਐਚਐਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸਤ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾ: ਲਲਿਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਗੁਪਤਾ, ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਡੀਨ, ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਫਿਜ਼ੀਓਥੈਰੇਪੀ ਅਤੇ ਰੇਡੀਓਲੋਜੀ, ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀਨ, ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਵ ਬਣਾਇਆ।
Alumni meet at RBU sees overwhelming response

The University school of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering and University School of Allied Health Sciences, Rayat Bahra University organized Alumni meet, bringing together past and present students in a memorable event that celebrated the institute's legacy and the strong bonds between alumni and the faculty. The University school of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering organised a vibrant and engaging Alumni Meet, bringing together graduates from various batches.
The event served as a platform for alumni to reconnect, reminisce, and forge new connections. The meeting was chaired by Chancellor of RBU Gurvinder Singh Bahra, who along with Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh also interacted with the alumni.
The Alumni shared experiences, insights, and career paths since graduation, fostering a sense of community and pride in the department's legacy. One of the students from batch 2011-2015 is currently founder and Director of M/s Solar Destination and another student from batch 2014-2018 is Chief Engineer in L&T in Mumbai. "
Dean Dr Anmol Goyal, Head of the Department, Er Sonal Sood, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, said the event was organised under the patronage of Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra and Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh and was a grand success. Meanwhile University School of Allied Health Sciences, Rayat Bahra University organized Alumni meet in hybrid mode.
The alumni meet commenced with an address by Dean of USAHS Dr Pankaj Kaul wherein he emphasized the importance of the alumni and their contributions to the institute and society. Dr Kaul's words resonated deeply, reminding everyone of the enduring impact of their education while at USAHS, RBU.
Ibtisam Nazir Khan, General Secretary, Alumnus and Faculty of USAHS, shared her personal journey and experiences at the institute. Her inspiring talk showcased the transformative power of education and highlighted the incredible achievements of alumni in various fields of Allied Health Science.
Varshdeep Kour, Treasurer, Alumnus and Faculty of USAHS, presented a detailed overview of the department's achievements throughout these years since the inception of USAHS. Attendees were amazed by the strides made by their fellow alumni and felt a renewed sense of enthusiasm and sense of belongingness of their respective fields in parent school.
Dr Lalit Kumar Gupta, Professor and Dean, University School of Physiotherapy and Radiology, RBU, in his vote of thanks expressed gratitude to all the attendees, faculty and staff who made the alumni meet possible.
