Deputy Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi gave a warm send off to the Hajj pilgrims who left for the holy city of Medina in 17th special flight from Srinagar International Airport today.As many as 5779 pilgrims of the State have left for Medina to perform Hajj till date, the Deputy Speaker was informed.Interacting with the pilgrims, the Deputy Speaker enquired about the arrangements and facilities being provided to them. The pilgrims expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the Government and the State Hajj Committee.Mr. Gurezi wished them well being and smooth conduct of Hajj-e-Baitullah. He also appealed the pilgrims to pray for welfare and prosperity of the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
