In order to bid farewell to the IGP (Personnel), Mr. Mukesh Singh who has been transferred to National Investigating Agency (NIA) on deputation, Police Headquarters (PHQ) organized an impressive farewell function here today.Addressing the function, the Director General of Police (DGP), Mr. K. Rajendra Kumar, appreciated the efficiency of the officer in dealing administrative matters in a professional manner. He said that Jammu and Kashmir Police is proud of the efficiency of its officers, who leads the Organisation at different levels.

Mr. Rajendra lauded the contribution of Mr. Mukesh during his tenure in PHQ and said that he is a professional police officer with excellent Organizational skills and leadership qualities. He is a visionary officer with innovative approach and is right person to serve in the country’s highest Investigating Agency, he added.DGP said that Mr. Mukesh has served the NIA earlier for more than five years and earned a good name by delivering in the Agency. He has been nominated for the second term in token of his contribution and called by NIA only after one and a half year in relaxation to the rules.

Mr. Mukesh thanked all ranks of PHQ for their wholehearted support in bringing efficiency in administrative matters. He said that during his short tenure at PHQ he tried his utmost to bring transparency in the highest office of police organization.Among others, the function was attended by ADsGP, SP Vaid and L Mohanti, IGP, HK Lohia, DIG, Viplav Kumar, AIsGP, Sheikh Junaid Mahmood, Rajeshwar Singh, Tahir Sajjad, Kulbir Singh and Sheikh Zulfikar Azad, Sr. ADO, BA Shah, SsP, Nasir Ahmed Khan and Gulzar Ahmed.
