Chief MinisterVirbhadra Singh launched the website www.hgtu.in of the Himachal Government Teachers Union here, today. He congratulated the Union for launching its own website which would provide a better medium for communicating various activities of the education department besides other important information to the teaching community. The Chief Minister said that it was the age of Information Technology where it had become necessary to go with the new technology to remain update with the latest developments. Shri Virender Chauhan, the President of the Union said that any suggestions regarding betterment in the field of education, students and teachers would be highly appreciated on its FAQ and email [email protected]. The office bearers of the Union were also present on the occasion.
