Enthusiasm, vigour and love for the city was found in full force today at the Krishna Market, Sector 41 where the four-week old ‘City Beautiful’s Dream: Keep Me Clean’ campaign planned their this Sunday’s motivational session. With more and more people joining them in two fortnights, the drive was all set to clean the city once again. This time, Sister Sarika, center-in-charge sector 51 asked the public on their plans over the city’s cleanliness. Hundreds of people, who came to shop, involved themselves in a lively talk with some angelic spiritual jockey’s clad in white. Sister Sarika, as a humble gesture , thanked all the city residents for putting in spectacular help in this campaign’s success. She said that the drive had been receiving hundreds of wonderful message since its inception.

“Ek Kadam apne badhaya, ek hum badhaein to duniya badal jaye”

“My mother; Nature; is in ruins; please protect it or you’ll die!”

Such incredible messages , echoing with the love for cleanliness gave us a hidden assurance that at least scores of people would stop spreading filth around. This initiative from the general public elucidated that if one person’s vision can reach hundreds, no wonder, will these hundred be instrumental in inspiring another thousands. This manifold proliferation would reiterate the massage;“ek ek karne se nahin par – ek ek ke karne se hoga’. Sister Sarika also commented that this campaign will be an on-going process and it could also be carried out at places where people would invite it. For any further details on this account, volunteers can contact Sister Sarika through phone or SMS on 9041478810 or visit us at Peace cottage, #268, Sector 51A, Chandigarh .
