GGMS Baghat celebrates Annual Day

Government Girls Middle School, Baghat organised an impressive annual day function here today. The MLA Amirakadal and Provincial President National Conference, Nasir Aslam Wani was the chief guest on the occasion.Highlighting the achievements of the present Omar led coalition government registered under the education sector, Nasir Aslam Wani said that the government has made numerous advances in the sector by way of establishing scores of Degree Colleges universities university campuses, upgrading schools. He said that to strengthen existing infrastructure under education sector government has constructed college, school buildings and additional blocks.Director School Education Kashmir, Commissioner SMC CEO Srinagar and prominent locals.The school News Letter ‘Hope and a book’ by Dr. Bilal Rafique was released on this occasion.Later, students presented a colourful cultural programme.Earlier, Headmistress of the School, Mrs. Rehana Qounser in her welcome address highlighted the achievements of the school registered during last academic year. She appealed the chief guest to give special attention towards the development of the school so that the students are benefitted by the facilities being provided by the government.
