“Sair-e- Milaap” team, a group of 6 civilians from Poonch and 6 Army personnel, met Governor N.N. Vohra, here at the Raj Bhavan today. This group is on a Motorcycle Expedition which has been organized by 39 RR under the leadership of Maj. B.S. Bisht.Maj. Bisht informed the Governor that the expedition has been launched to promote adventure sports and with the aim of promoting better mutual understanding about the problems and difficulties which are being faced by people who belong to different regions of J&K. The group informed the Governor that during their 9 days Expedition they would cover 1100 km from Poonch to Zojila and back.The Governor advised the group to visit schools en route and hold interactions with the students to enthuse them with spirit of adventure sports. He presented a memento to the Expedition and wished them success.Mr. P.K Tripathi, Principal Secretary to the Governor, was present on the occasion.
