Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh announced laying foundation stones of various projects worth Rs. nine crore for Bharmour and Holi area of Chamba district telephonically today. It includes bridge on Ravi River on Tiyari road in Holi area to be constructed at a cost of Rs. two crore, Holi Jabal Sewerage Scheme worth Rs. 2.39 crore, Sutkar-Banaun-Holi Drinking Water Augmentation Scheme worth Rs. 1.10 crore, foundation stone of Bharmour Community Health Centre to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.98 crore and Alternate Helipad to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.38 crore.His Tour to Tribal areas of Chamba district was cancelled in the morning due to inclement weather condition.In his message to the people of the area through telephone, Shri Virbhadra Singh said that State Government had given priority for the development of tribal and far flung areas of the State and sufficient funds would be made available for various works in these areas. He said that he was much keen to perform the foundation stone ceremonies of various projects in the area physically but due to bad weather it was not possible.  He forwarded his message through the Mobile phone of Forest Minister, Sh. Thakur Singh Bharmouri. Chief Minister said that keeping in view the limited working season, he had performed foundation stones of various projects through telephone so that construction work could be started in time and people could be benefited. He said that he had directed all concerned officers to complete these projects in time bound manner.
