Digital India Week Celebrated at Shopian

As part of the Digital India Week, a mega function was organized by District Administration at Degree College Shopian under Technical Assistance of NIC Shopian. District Development Commissioner Shopian, Mr. G M Dar inaugurated the function by clicking on the “Digital India Logo”.While speaking on the occasion Principal Degree College Prof. Showkat Ali Bhat highlighted the importance of e-governance and advised students to learn and adopt all the necessary e-facilities launched vide Digital India Initiative.Speaking on the occasion, the District Development Commissioner highlighted the use and applications of newly launched e-services like Digital Locker, My Gov Portal, e-basta, e-sign and NSAP etc. and stressed upon the offices to inculcate IT Culture in their offices and utilize available services to bring the change.District Development Commissioner also released the annual College Magazine namely “Rambiar” and also inaugurated the new hall of college complex named as Prof. Shureeda Kashmiri Memorial Hall.
