After coming in this world the main aim of man is not to eat, drink, sleep, earn money or bear children but is to attain the knowledge as to who he is , from where has he come from and where is his true abode. The true home of human is not this body but God. These words were said by President of Planning and Advisory Board, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Sh. Gobind Singh ji from Delhi, while addressing thousands of devotees present at a function organised to pay tribute to Mata Bachni Devi ji, mother of Sh. Shubhkaran ji, Khetriya Sanchalak of Sewadal of Derabassi and Ropar. The congregation was held at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, sector-30A, Chandigarh. Sh. Singh further elaborated that this body is like a kachcha house that will soon turn into rubble but this God almighty, who is true from the beginning, is present in each and every particle, who is not bound by time, whom no one can destroy is the real home of human soul and to attain this knowledge is the main purpose of human life. After attaining the knowledge of God in human form, this soul merges into God after leaving human body else it goes into the cycle of 84 million births.While throwing light on the life of Mata Bachni Devi ji, Sh. Gobind Singh ji said that she completed 101 years of life and after coming in this world she fulfilled all the domestic and social duties along with the biggest service that she did first was to obtain the knowledge of God and spent her life abiding by the instructions of Satguru and did sewa, simran and satsang till her last breath.
