Expressing alarm over the industrial scenario in West Bengal, the opposition Left Front on Thursday said the under the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government, only the "bomb making' industry was flourishing.Front chairman Biman Bose also expressed apprehension that the multi-crore rupee Saradha scam was not being not being properly investigated due to the "unholy nexus" between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Banerjee. "The chief minister keeps talking about industry, but where is the industry?

The only industry that is flourishing here is bomb making. No matter which district you go, you will find bombs being manufactured," he told media persons here."The industrial scenario has gone bad to such an extent that even the chief justice of the Calcutta High Court has to make a comment," Bose said. The Communist Party of India-Marxist leader was referring to Chief Justice Manjula Chellur's remarks made on Tuesday about the industrial scenario in the state. "Who will come to invest crores of rupees in this atmosphere? Investors from Kerala and Karnataka will not come. I know their mentality."I was in Telangana last week.

In Telangana, there are people to escort investors from the airport to the chief minister's office," Chief Justice Chellur had observed in the open court during the hearing a case linked to money-laundering charges against the MPS Group of Companies.Alleging a "tacit understanding" between Modi and Banerjee, Bose expressed apprehension that the truth behind the Saradha scam would not be unraveled."When CBI began probing the case, we were sure that all the truth in Saradha scam will be unearthed. But now we have a tacit understanding between the BJP and the Trinamool. Due to this unholy nexus between prime minister and the chief minister, we are afraid that the truth will never come out," he said.
