Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand has condemned unprovoked firing on the International Border (IB) by Pakistani troops in Pargwal area of Akhnoor sector.Directing the civil and police administration to extend all possible help, Tara Chand said all those injured in the incident should be provided necessary medical help at the earliest. He issued directions to the pisional Commissioner, Jammu for ensuring on-the-spot help to those who have sustained injuries, besides supervising arrangements for those affected due to the incident. The Deputy Chief Minister who is presently in Delhi for medical check- up, reacted swiftly to the firing reports and called up Minister for Medical Education Mr. Taj Mohi-ud-Din to ensure that the injured get best possible medical treatment in the hospitals.Mr. Tara Chand asked Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture Raman Bhalla to personally oversee the arrangements extended for providing medical and other aid to the injured.Later,  Mr. Bhalla visited the Government Medical College, Jammu  and inquired the well being of the injured. He also visited the spot of firing in village Najwal, Pargwal on the International Border.
