Congress party candidate Balbir Singh Sidhu today filed his nomination from Mohali Constituency amongst a massive show of strength. Since morning a huge crowd started collecting at Dussehra Ground Phase 8 Mohali to show their solidarity. Mr.  Sidhu, thanked the people for there overwhelming support. He said wherever he is going in the course of his campaigning he is getting spontaneous response from all sections of society. He  warned turncoats of the type Ramoowalias and Bir Devenders  that they should be ashamed of their fickle stands and are insulting the sensibilities of the people of Mohali by expecting that they shall vote for such people who are know to change their stands and party at the drop of the hat.  

He said that  Mr. Ramoowalia till  6 months back was bitching and opposing Akalies overnight turned their ardent admirer and contest election on their platform.  He said that the people of Mohali are smart and learned and they shall make sure that he loses his security deposit.   Sidhu said that  he was a full time grassroot level worker of Mohali citizens whereas Ramoowalia, an outsider, does not even know names of the villages in his constituency.   He said that he has drawn out a list of priorities for the Mohali people which he shall be releasing tomorrow  which shall see his commitment  towards al around inclusive  development of the city and villages. 

Speaking oin the occasion Mr. Rajinder Singh Rana,  President Mohali District Congress ,  praised Mr. Sidhu for the various welfare activities carried out by him. He said that it was under Mr. Sidhu’s patronage only that for the 1st time in Punjab Mass marriages of 100 needy girls were solemnized in Mohali.  Mr. SS Sandhu, past president Mohali Industries Association and Mr. Prabhjot Sandhu , President, Mohali Industries Welfare Association Phase 9 said that Industry is sick with the anti industry policies of the Akali Government  and assured the people that over 85% Industry in Mohali wants Mr. Sidhu to win and Congress to form the next Government.  They shall all vote for him along with their workers.  Senior Congress leader  Rishab Jain and Sukhdev Singh mangat said that the win of Mr. Sidhu is assured but the question is that we all ensure that he wins with the maximum margin in the state.
