HRTC employees to get revised Grade-Pay-G.S. Bali

Transport Minister G.S. Bali announced revised Grade-Pay to the employees of Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) from next month in the meeting of Departmental Joint Coordination Committee held here last evening. Transport Minister said that Rs. 11 crore would be released as overtime allowance to employees of the Corporation soon  besides Rs. 10 crore would be deposited in the Pension Trust of HRTC employees and Rs. two crore would be given for medical reimbursement bills of the employees. He said that Rs. 4.71 crore would be released as dearness allowance arrear of the pensioners and Rs. 7.58 crore as Gratuity to employees in a phased manner.Shri Bali said that Rs. 40 crore would be issued by the management of the Corporation for the employees in a stipulated time. He said that pending demands of the employees of the Corporation had been considered. He appealed to the employees to work with dedication and sincerity so that economic condition of the Corporation could be improved.  

He said that per kilometre average of buses of the Corporation had increased significantly during last nine months. He assured the employees that their all genuine demands would be considered sympathetically. Shri Ali Raza Rizvi Principal Secretary Transport, Shri Ritesh Chauhan Director Transport Department, Dr. R.N. Batta Managing Director HRTC and representatives of different associations of HRTC were also present in the meeting.
