Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Mr. Shivraj V. Patil, today visited the Mansa Devi Temple at Panchkula and paid obeisance at the Temple.Patil said that it was thanks giving visit to the holy place and to obtain the blessings of Almighty.He said that the place transcends man to a higher pedestal, makes him more spiritual and less mundane and he comes out with purified heart and soul.He said it was always inspiring to visit religious places. The holy place expands the vision of man and makes him more inclusive. It means it takes man nearer to God. He said he was happy to have been able to come here, again.Accompanied by his son Mr. Sailesh Patil, Mrs and Mr. Rajbachan Singh Sandhu, ADC, Mr. JS Sidhu SP Security, Mr. Naginder Singh, Joint Director (Press), Mr.Patil, took the full round of parkarma and was much impressed by the ambience. After paying obeisance inside the Sanctum Sanctorum, he was honoured by Mr.MP Kohali, President Mata Mansa Devi Bhandara. Later, Mr. Shivraj Patil paid obeisance at Patiala Mandir and performed Pooja. He also had langar (Community Kitchen) at Bhandara.
