Chief Patron Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) Muhammad Azam Inqilabi Saturday castigated Government of India (GOI) for disallowing international aid to flood-ravaged Kashmir. In a meeting of party workers, according to the statement issued to KNS,  Inqilabi said, “They (GoI) displayed callous attitude in dealing with post-flood situation here. September floods affected lakhs of people besides damaging houses, shops, business hubs, livestock and crops.” He alleged the rulers just acted as mute spectators to this devastation.“There is no shift in arrogance and sadism of Indian rulers’ vis-à-vis Kashmiris,” he said. MeA patron said it is incumbent upon Kashmir youth to boycott the forthcoming assembly elections “so as to safeguard the sacrifices of martyrs”.

He said Kashmir youth has only two options now: “One is through complete election boycott, make it clear to Indian rulers that your democracy is a sham democracy and nothing but fraud and deceit here. Your security lies in allowing promised referendum in Kashmir.” Said Inqilabi further: “Amid Pakistan’s nuclear weapons and Syed Salah-ud-din’s thousands fighters Indian troops are caged in their own bunkers and camps and this is no good for India’s future”.

“If Indian rulers didn’t shun their obduracy and fulfill their pledge of plebiscite, then only way left for Kashmir youth is to adopt the way of Badr and Balakote. If this happens then every valley of Kashmir will present the scenes of Panjsheer where valiant mujahedeen will display same valour as in Gazwa-e- Mota and Hattin” he said.“Warriors from different Muslim countries and brotherly country Pakistan will join it.”

To avoid such a situation, Inqilabi said, India should take Pakistan and Kashmir resistance leaders into confidence and initiate tri-partite talks.“This is the only way to guarantee peace in South-Asia,” he told the participants. He said GOI should adopt objectivity and shun rigidity on K-issue. “This will help them in an honourable exit.” (KNS)
