Congress organizes relief camps in Srinagar

Stating that various medical camps were organised at different places in the flood hit city, Congress activist Kadfeen Choudary Thursday said that such relief measures will continue on the directions of the former chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad who was himself monitoring these relief measures.In a statement issued to KNS, Kadfeen said that  the relief team led by Mr Azad toured to various flood hit areas of Srinagar city including Amira Kadal , Natipora, Ram Bagh, Magarmal Bagh and assessed the damage caused by the recent floods.

Kadfeen claimed that besides 400 quintals of ration, 60 thousand of safe drinking water is being provided everyday in the flood hit areas.He stated that free medical camps are also being organized at various places  including Lasjan, Ganbo, Taj colony, Bemina, JVC Karan Nagar, Shaheed Gunj, Sarae Payeen, Natipora and various others wherein a team comprising of senior doctors remains present.  KNS)Respected subscribers you can surf our website to read all the news bulletins at your will.
