Haryana Industry and Commerce Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, inaugurated a Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Mela in the Badshahpur Assembly constituency of Gurugram on Sunday. On the occasion, he visited stalls set up by various government departments, reviewed the implementation of welfare schemes and interacted with beneficiaries to understand their needs.

Addressing the gathering, Rao Narbir Singh said that the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Melas are not merely government programmes but a powerful initiative to make economically weaker families self-reliant. Through these Melas, eligible families are provided access to a wide range of government welfare schemes at a single venue, ensuring lasting and meaningful improvements in their lives, he said.

Rao Narbir Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana Government is translating the principle of Antyodaya into reality by ensuring that the benefits of development reach the last person in society. The government's priority, he said, is not only to extend assistance to economically weaker families but also to create opportunities that enable them to become self-reliant and lead a life of dignity.

The Minister directed all administrative officers to ensure that every eligible beneficiary is provided complete information about the schemes applicable to them. He emphasised that no deserving citizen should be deprived of government welfare schemes merely due to lack of awareness.
