VIT-AP University successfully inaugurated the 1st International Conference on Advances in Architectures, Algorithms & Applications for Artificial Intelligence (IC4AI–2026) at its Amaravati campus. The conference brought together renowned academicians, researchers, industry experts, and students from across the globe to deliberate on the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence and its multidisciplinary applications.
The inaugural ceremony commenced with a warm Welcome Address by Prof. S. Sudhakar Ilango, Convenor of IC4AI–2026 and Dean, School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCOPE), VIT-AP University. In his address, he welcomed the distinguished guests, delegates, researchers, faculty members, and students, highlighting the importance of collaborative research and innovation in shaping the future of AI.
The event was graced by Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director, NIT Warangal, as the Guest of Honour. He emphasized the growing significance of Artificial Intelligence in addressing real-world challenges and encouraged young researchers to focus on impactful, interdisciplinary research that contributes to society.
Another Guest of Honour, Shri Rajiv Sharma, Founder and CEO of AgVysor Innovations LLP, shared valuable insights on the role of AI in transforming agriculture and industry. He highlighted how emerging technologies can bridge the gap between academic research and industrial applications, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. P. Arulmozhivarman, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of VIT-AP University, reiterated the University's commitment to excellence in research, innovation, and global collaboration. He appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee in bringing together eminent researchers and industry leaders on a common platform to discuss emerging AI technologies.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Rajkumar E. R., Enterprise Tech Architect, Vice President/Senior Manager – Industry X, Supply Chain Engineering, Accenture, Bengaluru, delivered an inspiring keynote emphasizing the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in digital enterprises, intelligent manufacturing, and next-generation supply chain engineering. He encouraged participants to develop AI solutions that are ethical, scalable, and socially responsible.
One of the major highlights of the inaugural ceremony was the release of the IC4AI–2026 Conference Souvenir, showcasing the conference proceedings, messages from dignitaries, and information about the event. The ceremony was followed by the felicitation of the Chief Guest and other distinguished dignitaries in recognition of their outstanding contributions to academia, research, and industry.
The inaugural session concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. Saroj Kumar Panigrahy, Convenor of IC4AI–2026 and Associate Dean, School of Computer Science and Engineering, VIT-AP University. He expressed sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, Vice Chancellor, invited speakers, delegates, sponsors, organizing committee members, faculty, staff, student volunteers, and participants for their valuable support and contribution to the grand success of the conference.
