Celebrating the depth of a mother’s love and wisdom, Mr. Bal Mukand Sharma, Chairman, Punjab State Food Commission, today released author Ravee Pandher’s book _‘Letters to My Daughters’_ at a ceremony held here. Mr. Sharma said the book is a moving collection that weaves a mother’s emotions, hopes, fears, and life lessons into letters for her daughters.

He noted that in an era of digital distance, such heartfelt narratives remind us of the strength of maternal bonds and the role of mothers in shaping values, resilience, and identity. Lauding the author, the Chairman said Punjab’s literary tradition is enriched when women’s voices document lived experiences. _‘Letters to My Daughters’_ speaks to every mother who wishes to pass on courage and compassion as legacy, and to every daughter seeking to understand her roots.

Author Ravee Pandher shared that the book was written to preserve intimate conversations that often go unsaid. It is a tribute to the silent sacrifices, quiet strength, and unconditional love that define motherhood. She thanked Mr. Sharma for encouraging literature that nurtures emotional and cultural ties.

On the occasion, the Commission Members Jasvir Singh Sekhon, Vijay Dutt, Chetan Parkash Dhaliwal and Member Secretary Kanu Thind were also present.
