Chaupal OTT, India's leading Punjabi streaming platform, is receiving an encouraging response to its latest original series, Pardhan, which premiered exclusively on the platform on June 18, 2026. The six-episode series has quickly captured viewers' attention with its gripping portrayal of student politics, power struggles, friendships, and ambition.

Directed by Amit Prasher and written by Vivek Saini, Pardhan explores a subject rarely seen in Punjabi entertainment — the complex and often turbulent world of college campus elections. Set against the backdrop of student politics, the series follows a group of young individuals whose lives become intertwined as they navigate leadership battles, shifting alliances, personal ambitions, and the consequences of power.

At its heart, Pardhan examines questions that resonate far beyond college campuses: How far can ambition take a person? What happens when friendships collide with power? And what sacrifices are made in the pursuit of leadership?

The series features an ensemble cast including Karan Sehmbi, Aatish, Tarlok Singh, Sunny Kahlon Navdeep Bajwa, Priyanka Khera, and Karman Kaur Miglani, each bringing depth and authenticity to the narrative. Their performances contribute to a story that feels relatable, contemporary, and deeply rooted in the realities of youth politics.

One of the key strengths of Pardhan lies in its concise six-episode format, allowing the story to unfold at a steady pace while maintaining tension and intrigue throughout. With layered characters, unexpected twists, and emotionally charged moments, the series keeps audiences engaged from beginning to end.

Speaking about the series, Director Amit Prasher said:

"With Pardhan, we wanted to tell a story that reflects the realities, emotions, and challenges that young people experience while navigating power, ambition, and identity. We are grateful for the positive response the series has received from audiences and hope it continues to spark meaningful conversations."

Pardhan also marks an important milestone in Chaupal's growing slate of Original programming. As Punjabi audiences continue to embrace digital entertainment, the series reflects Chaupal's commitment to creating fresh, relevant, and high-quality stories that resonate with viewers across generations.

With its compelling narrative, engaging performances, and contemporary subject matter, Pardhan has further strengthened Chaupal's position as a platform dedicated to expanding the scope of Punjabi storytelling in the OTT space.Pardhan is now streaming exclusively on Chaupal OTT.
