Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin commenced his three-day maiden visit to Punjab by paying obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib. Speaking to journalists after bowing his head at Sri Darbar Sahib, he said, "Just as Maharaja Ranjit Singh gave a unique governance identity to Punjab, we all want to create the Punjab of his dreams."

Nitin Nabin stated, "I have been blessed with the opportunity to offer prayers at Sri Harmandir Sahib for the peace, prosperity, and progress of the people of Punjab. I come from Patna Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, which is my karmabhoomi (place of work), and I have also prayed for the peace and harmony of the people of the entire country."

He added that the history of Sri Harmandir Sahib has given Punjab a distinct identity across the globe. "I have prayed for that very Punjab so that, just as the entire country is moving ahead on the path of progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, our Punjab also advances on development parameters, and the rays of prosperity reach every home, neighborhood, and village in Punjab."

He further expressed, "I consider myself fortunate to have the opportunity to visit this holy land and this sacred shrine. Praying here today has infused a new energy within me, with which I have taken a pledge for the service and development of the entire nation and Punjab."

On this occasion, he was accompanied by Punjab BJP State President Kewal Singh Dhillon, National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh, co-incharge of Punjab party affairs Narendra Raina, Parliamentary Board member Iqbal Singh Lalpura,  former President Shwait Malik, MP Vikram Sahni, District President Harvinder Sandhu, and several other senior party leaders.

After paying obeisance at Darbar Sahib, he also visited the historic Jallianwala Bagh and paid his floral tributes to the martyrs of the Baisakhi-1919 massacre. The party leaders present with him expressed their respect for the martyrs by raising slogans like "Long Live the Martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh" and "Bharat Mata Ki Jai."

Following this, he paid obeisance at the Durgiana Temple and prayed for the unity and social harmony of the country. Here, he expressed his deep respect for Indian culture, spiritual heritage, and spiritual traditions. Later, he visited the Sri Ram Tirath Temple, where he bowed before Bhagwan Valmiki Ji and recalled his immense contribution to India's great spiritual legacy.In Amritsar, the National President also held an important meeting with the core committee of the Punjab BJP.

Nitin Nabin arrived at the Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport around 12:00 PM today, where he was welcomed by State President Kewal Singh Dhillon, National Vice President Saudan Singh, National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, National Secretary Narendra Singh Raina, Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Bittu, National Parliamentary Board member Iqbal Singh Lalpura, former President Sunil Jakhar, Manoranjan Kalia, Avinash Rai Khanna, Ashwani Sharma, Vijay Sampla, Shwait Malik, Amritsar District President Harvinder Sandhu, along with hundreds of party workers.
