Haryana Minister of State for Sports, Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship, Sh. Gaurav Gautam, on Thursday said that the 12-year tenure of the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister,  Sh. Narendra Modi has been a historic and golden era for India, marked by unprecedented achievements in development, governance and nation-building.

The Minister was addressing a gathering after inaugurating a three-day development exhibition themed ‘12 saal vishwas ke, vikas ke aur jan-kalyan ke’ organized at the ground floor of the District Secretariat in Palwal. The exhibition has been organised by the Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department Haryana  as part of the Public Outreach, Public Welfare and Public Awareness Campaign being conducted across the country to mark the completion of 12 years of the Central Government under Prime Minister S. Narendra Modi.

Addressing  the gathering, Sh. Gaurav Gautam said Prime Minister, Sh.  Narendra Modi's 12-year tenure has been a historic and golden period for the nation. He said historic work has been carried out in every sphere, ranging from roads to the skies, healthcare to education, education to railways, and technology to Artificial Intelligence (AI). He said India is moving forward with the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat-2047’ and development is taking place across all sectors. The country, he said, is steadily advancing towards economic strength, enhanced security and self-reliance.

*New Sports Stars Emerging from Every Street and Neighbourhood*

The Minister said that under the Prime Minister's leadership, India has registered unprecedented progress in development, good governance and self-reliance during the past 12 years.He said initiatives such as Startup India and Stand-Up India have provided young people with opportunities to become job creators. 

Across the country, divine and grand centres of faith have been developed, giving a renewed identity to India's Sanatan culture and rich cultural heritage.Referring to sports, he said new sporting talent is emerging from every street and neighbourhood, reflecting the growing sports culture in the country.

Sh. Gaurav Gautam further said that farmers are receiving direct financial assistance of Rs 6,000 in their bank accounts under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Through Ayushman Bharat, citizens are receiving the benefit of free medical treatment worth up to Rs 5 lakh.

He said the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has fulfilled the dream of home ownership for the poor, while collateral-free loans under the Mudra Yojana have empowered small entrepreneurs to expand their businesses. These achievements, he said, have helped India move rapidly towards becoming a developed nation.

*Jan Kalyan Camp Organised at District Secretariat*

Earlier , a Jan Kalyan Camp was organised at the auditorium of the District Secretariat as part of the Public Outreach, Public Welfare and Public Awareness Campaign being conducted to mark the completion of 12 years of the Central Government.

Sh. Gaurav Gautam attended the camp as the chief guest and listened to public grievances with seriousness, directing  the officers concerned to take immediate steps for their resolution.The Minister interacted individually with complainants, obtained details of their problems and  directed the officers of the concerned departments to ensure their resolution on a priority basis. 

He said the objective of both the Central and Haryana Governments is to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the last person in society and that citizens' grievances are resolved within a fixed timeframe.Sh. Gaurav Gautam further said Jan Kalyan Camps are aimed at strengthening communication between the public and the district administration and ensuring on-the-spot resolution of issues wherever possible.

The Minister said that the progress of any society is possible only when the problems of its citizens are resolved in a timely and effective manner. As a public representative, it is my duty to understand the difficulties faced by the people and take concrete steps for their resolution, he said. 

He directed  officers not to ignore complaints submitted by citizens and instead to listen to them seriously and ensure their proper resolution.The Minister said that the resolution of public problems is the very foundation of development, prosperity and a happy society.

*Minister Visits Departmental Stalls, Undergoes Health Check-up*

During the programme, the Minister also inspected stalls set up by various departments and personally underwent blood sugar and blood pressure examinations.He said the primary objective of these stalls was not only to inform citizens about various government schemes but also to ensure that the benefits of those schemes reach every eligible beneficiary.Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Jainder Singh Chhilar, Superintendent of Police, Sh. Nitish Agarwal and other officers also remained present on this occasion.
