The Bhagwant Mann Government’s Yudh Nashean Virudh campaign continues to intensify its crackdown on drug peddlers and narcotics networks across Punjab. Amid the ongoing drive, the arrest of an ‘ED Party’ (BJP) office-bearer along with his associates for selling drugs has brought the party under scrutiny.

Referring to the development, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and other senior leaders said the Bhagwant Mann Government’s determined action against the drug menace is exposing those involved in the narcotics trade and reinforcing Punjab’s resolve to secure a drug-free future for its youth.

Taking to X, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal stated: “ED Party office-bearers have themselves been caught selling drugs in Punjab. Are the ED Party’s links connected to the drug trade? Today, 70 % of the drugs entering Punjab are coming through Gujarat.

Under the alliance Government of the ED Party and ‘Chitta Party’, chitta was delivered to households across Punjab. Drugs were distributed door-to-door in Government vehicles under official patronage.” “The ED Party and Chitta Party are responsible for destroying Punjab’s youth.

By striking at chitta, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann has once again given Punjab’s youth hope for a bright future,” noted the AAP Supremo. AAP National Media In-Charge Anurag Dhanda stated on X, “Bhagwant Mann Government has dismantled the drug network so thoroughly that ED Party members have now entered the field themselves to supply drugs.

CM Bhagwant Mann Ji, crush anyone involved in the drug trade in Punjab. Save Punjab’s coming generations from these ED Party drug traffickers, that is all we ask.” Senior AAP leader and Kondli MLA Kuldeep Kumar stated.

“ED Party orders drugs from abroad, gets them unloaded at Adani’s ports, then sends them to every corner of the country, after which ED Party workers sell them. In Punjab, the Bhagwant Mann Government is shutting down their drug business. That is why the Chitta Party and ED Party are worried,” he stated.
