Popular television actress Surbhi Jyoti has finally embraced motherhood as she welcomed her first child, a baby girl with husband Sumit Suri on June 13 this year. Sharing the blessed announcement with her Instagram family, Surbhi shared a post on Sunday saying, "It's a girl...13th June 2026...Love Surbhi & Sumit."
The 'Qubool Hai' actress further added the caption, "(Om) Our daughter is here. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude (sic)", followed by an evil eye and a sparkles emoji. As soon as the post reached social media, the comment section was flooded with congratulatory messages for the new parents.
Actress Aashka Goradia wrote, "Congratulationssssss", along with many red heart emojis. Actress Kishwer Merchant added, "Yayyyyiieeeee.. congratulations", with two red heart emoticons. Recently, Surbhi enjoyed a lovely baby shower on her birthday in the presence of her family and close friends.
She further dropped glimpses from the double celebration on social media with the caption, "Celebrating me and the lil one growing inside me." Surbhi had announced her first pregnancy with husband Sumit Suri back in February this year. In a heartwarming social media post, she published a cute picture of her legs entangled in hubby Sumit's feet with a white pair of tiny shoes placed in between.
"Om, Our greatest adventure begins...Little Love arriving this June," read the caption. For those who do not know, Surbhi tied the knot with businessman Sumit Suri in October 2024. The lovebirds chose a hill station as their wedding destination, where they exchanged wedding vows in the presence of their family and friends.
Constant updates from the fun pre-wedding festivities, including sangeet and engagement, were uploaded by the 'Naagin' actress on her official social media handle. Many well-known names from the television industry, such as Anita Hassanandani, Rithvik Dhanjani, Asha Negi, and Karan Wahi, attended the nuptial.
