Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the country’s distinguished Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now served as Prime Minister one day longer than India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. If one compares their tenures, “Jawaharlal Nehru’s 12 years were a dark night” while “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12 years are a shining sun,” during which every sector in the country has advanced.

Sh. Vij was speaking to media representatives today after a havan-yajna held at the Sanatan Dharma Temple in Ambala Cantt to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s longest tenure of 12 years. He said that today the respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed the longest period in office — 12 years — as an elected Prime Minister.

He said that all BJP workers in Ambala Cantt offered prayers through a havan-yajna with devotion, praying that just as Modi has worked in the last 12 years across every sector and for every class while taking everyone along and earning everyone’s trust, so too may he continue to work for the country for a long time and lead the nation to new heights.

Also today, at the Sanatan Dharma Temple in Ambala Cantt, Minister Anil Vij participated in the havan-yajna with BJP workers and prayed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s long life. Earlier, upon his arrival here, temple committee office-bearers and others welcomed him with bouquets.

Present on the occasion were Municipal Council President Swarn Kaur, Vice President Lalta Prasad, Market Committee Chairman Balwinder Shahpur, BJP leaders B.S. Bindra, Sanjeev Walia, Vijendra Chauhan, Jasbir Jassi, Rajiv Dimple, Kiranpal Chauhan, Pravesh Sharma, Ravi Buddhiraja, Harsh Bindra, Vikas Bahgal, Ashish Agarwal, Balit Nagpal, Tarvinder Singh Sonu, Sudarshan Singh Sehgal, Sanjeev Atri, Shyam Sundar Arora, Shiva Kakran, Raj Kumar Raja, Deepak Bhasin, Ashish Gulati, Aarti Sehgal, Sonali Uppal, Neha Puri, Bholi Bindra, Rashim Verma, Meenu Dhiman, and others.
