After securing a resounding victory in the Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council, and Nagar Panchayat elections in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party has received a further major boost in the Budhlada constituency. On Wednesday, several independent councillors from the Municipal Councils of Boha and Bareta joined the AAP in the presence of Rajvir Singh Ghuman, OSD to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and Principal Budh Ram, MLA from Budhlada constituency.

Welcoming all the councillors into the party, OSD Rajbir Ghuman said that their induction would further strengthen the party’s support base in the constituency and give new momentum to development works. He said that people from various sections of society, as well as elected representatives, are joining the AAP after being impressed by the pro-people initiatives being carried out in Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

The councillors who joined the party include Kulwant Singh, Ward No. 6; Kirpal Singh Khalsa, Ward No. 4; and Charanjit Singh Channi, Ward No. 1, from Boha Municipal Council. From Bareta Municipal Council Gagandeep Singh, Ward No. 8; Lakhwinder Kumar Lucky, Ward No. 10; Manpreet Kaur, Ward No. 12; Amarjit Devi, Ward No. 7; Gagandeep Kaur, Ward No. 9; and Sandeep Kaur, Ward No. 11 joined the AAP.

On this occasion, MLA Principal Budh Ram said that the people of the Budhlada constituency are appreciating the politics of development, transparent governance, and public welfare. He said that all the councillors who have joined the party will work with full dedication for the development of their respective areas.

The newly inducted councillors also assured that they would work with complete honesty to strengthen the party’s ideology and ensure the overall development of their areas.
