A meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee under Mission YUVA was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek to review the progress of the scheme and consider fresh applications from aspiring entrepreneurs.

During the meeting, 170 applications verified by the Small Business Development Units (SBDUs) were placed before the committee. After detailed scrutiny, all 170 cases were approved for financial assistance, skill development training and other support under Mission YUVA.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned banks to ensure prompt disbursement of sanctioned loans and expedite clearance of all pending cases. Stressing the importance of capacity building, he instructed the departments concerned to intensify skill development initiatives by organising additional training sessions at Dharmari and launching more training batches across the district.

He emphasised that enhanced awareness and wider registration under Mission YUVA would enable more eligible youth to avail the benefits of the scheme and establish sustainable livelihood ventures. He called upon all stakeholders to work in coordination to maximise outreach and ensure timely support to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Among those present were Additional District Development Commissioner Krishan Lal, General Manager District Industries Centre, Assistant Director Employment and other officers concerned.
