Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij has always remained dedicated to public service, and another example of this commitment was witnessed today when hundreds of members of the Haryana Roadways Workers Union gathered outside his residence in Ambala Cantonment to raise their demands. Instead of calling them inside, Minister Anil Vij himself went among the employees and addressed them directly.

Transport Minister Anil Vij told the employees that even if they had simply sent him a letter regarding their issues, he would still have taken action on it. Addressing Roadways employees who had arrived from across the state, Sh. Vij said that he had listened carefully to the union representatives and had accepted their memorandum.

He further said that he had already discussed the matter with departmental officers in Chandigarh. He announced that a meeting with senior departmental officers and union representatives would be held on June 9, during which every issue and demand would be discussed point by point. Before this, Transport Minister Anil Vij also formally received the memorandum from the union representatives.

It is noteworthy that a few days ago, thousands of members of the All Haryana Power Corporation Worker Union had also gathered in Ambala Cantonment regarding their demands, where Minister Anil Vij personally reached the protest site to receive their memorandum.
