Education Minister Rohit Thakur visited Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) today to inquire about the well-being of teachers injured in the tragic accident that occurred while they were returning to Ani on Saturday evening. The Education Minister interacted with the injured teachers Reena Kumari and Tara Devi and sought detailed information from doctors and hospital authorities regarding their treatment. 

He directed the hospital administration to ensure the best possible medical care for the injured. He also expressed grief over the death of four teachers in this unfortunate accident and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families. 

He assured that the state government and the Education Department stand firmly with the families of the deceased and will provide all possible support during this difficult time. Rohit Thakur said that the incident is deeply saddening and is an irreparable loss to the entire education fraternity. 

He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured teachers and wished them strength and good health. He also prayed for the peace of departed souls. Additional Director Education B.R. Sharma and Medical Officer Dr. Satish Kanwar also accompanied the Education Minister during the visit.
