Under the capable leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a wave of transformation since 2014 has reshaped every sector of the country.

The direct selling industry has also not remained untouched. The identity created by youth through direct selling is truly inspiring. Over the past few years, this sector has recorded tenfold growth. From Rs. 3,000 crore in 2015, it has grown to over Rs. 30,000 crore in 2025–26.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Sh. Pushkar Singh Dhami, Cabinet Minister Sh. Vipul Goel, Cabinet Minister Sh. Rao Narbir Singh, MLA Sh. Mukesh Sharma, MLA Sh. Bimla Chaudhary, and event organizers Sanjeev Kumar and Sandeep Hindustani were also present on the occasion.

He also appreciated the achievement of setting a world record for recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa, calling it a symbol of cultural unity and global resonance. The Chief Minister said that Gurugram has witnessed strong efforts towards Atmanirbhar Bharat through this Vijay Parv.

Seeing the large participation of youth, he remarked that they are emerging as the biggest strength of Viksit Bharat–Viksit Haryana. He congratulated young individuals who are not just seeking jobs but are also creating employment for others. He added that while Vijay Parv is traditionally associated with victories in wars, the Gurugram event represents victory over struggle, despair, and unemployment.

*Haryana among leading states in direct selling sector: CM*

The Chief Minister stated that Haryana has now emerged as one of the leading states in the direct selling sector. In recent years, the industry in the state has reached a turnover of approximately Rs. 2,000–2,200 crore. More than six lakh people are associated with this sector, with over 60 percent being women.

These figures highlight that direct selling is not just a business but also a means of employment generation, women empowerment, and social transformation. Its reach in small towns and rural areas is strengthening local economies. Recognizing its importance, the Central Government introduced direct selling rules in 2021, providing legal recognition, transparency, and consumer protection, thereby boosting confidence in the sector.

The Chief Minister emphasized that in today’s skill-driven era, success comes through skills. Direct selling requires communication skills, leadership abilities, marketing knowledge, and personality development. It is a field that teaches real-life lessons, where individuals learn to overcome challenges and turn failures into success.

The industry has expanded across multiple sectors including health and wellness, Ayurvedic products, nutrition supplements, personal care, beauty and cosmetics, home care, agriculture products, food and beverages, fashion, and lifestyle.

The Chief Minister said that direct selling enables companies to deliver products directly to consumers. The state government has provided platforms for small artisans, craftsmen, and weavers to reach buyers directly. Initiatives such as livelihood marts, Saras fairs, and festive markets offer opportunities for direct sales.

The government is also promoting this sector indirectly through skill development missions, women self-help groups, and startup promotion schemes. He urged youth to work harder and strengthen their networks in this field.
