Punjabi Actor & Comedian Binnu Dhillon inaugurates 3-Day Aryans Law Film Festival — First of its Kind in North India

Aryans College of Law, Rajpura near Chandigarh inaugurated  3-day “Aryans Law Film Festival”. Notably, this is the first-ever law film festival in North India, aimed at promoting legal education through the medium of cinema. The poster of the festival was officially launched by renowned Punjabi film star Binnu Dhillon, Renowned Punjabi & Telugu Actress Payal Rajput along with Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group.

Around 700 hundred students studying in LLB & BALLB attended this event. Binnu Dhillon appreciated the initiative of Aryans Law Film Festival and said that it is a unique and innovative way to connect education with real-life experiences through cinema.

He also praised Aryans Group of Colleges and Dr. Anshu Kataria for introducing such creative platforms that not only enhance learning but also keep students engaged and motivated. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Anshu Kataria highlighted that the festival is designed to provide law students with a practical and engaging understanding of legal concepts through impactful films based on real-life cases and judicial themes.

He emphasized that such innovative learning approaches help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world legal practice, while also making learning more interactive and meaningful. Binnu Dhillon visited Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura near Chandigarh, for the promotion of his upcoming Punjabi movie Khushkhabri, along with co-stars Payal Rajput and Harby Sangha.

He interacted with students, shared his experiences from the film industry, and encouraged them to pursue their passions with dedication, creating great excitement on campus. The festival will feature screenings of several acclaimed legal and socially relevant films including Pink, Section 375, Jolly LLB, Jolly LLB 2, Talvar, Rustom, Mulk, Article 15, Shahid, OMG – Oh My God!, Damini, No One Killed Jessica, Court, Bandit Queen, Black Friday, Raid, Special 26, Guilty, Batla House, Aitraaz, Article 21, Mulzim, Phir Milenge, Insaaf Ka Tarazu, Kasoor, Deewangee, Ek Ruka Hua Faisla, Main Aisa Hi Hoon, Shaurya, Gangaajal, Apaharan, Satyameva Jayate, Halla Bol, Yeh Saali Zindagi, Tehzeeb, Jurm, Kaabil, Mom, NH10, Drishyam, Drishyam 2.

These screenings will give students an opportunity to understand complex legal issues, courtroom strategies, and the nuances of the justice system through cinema. Aryans College of Law, affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala and approved by the Bar Council of India, is known for its commitment to excellence in legal education.

The institution is successfully running 5-year BA LL.B and 3-year LL.B programs and focuses on academic rigor, practical exposure, and overall personality development of students.
