BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh launched a sharp attack on the Bhagwant Mann government, stating that no family is safe in Punjab. He said the AAP government has practically handed over the state to gangsters and mafia dons.

Referring to the ED raid on an AAP MP running a university, Chugh said it sends alarming signals, while the free run of criminals has unnerved the entire state.Chugh said that the law and order situation in the state has completely collapsed, with criminals now carrying out killings in broad daylight without fear.

Referring to the recent murder of businessman Gurpreet Singh alias Gary in Moga, along with incidents of gang wars and targeted killings in Mohali and Amritsar, Chugh said these are not isolated cases but part of a dangerous and growing pattern. He pointed out that in recent months, businessmen, youth, and common citizens have been repeatedly targeted, creating a deep sense of fear across the state.

Chugh accused the Aam Aadmi Party government of failing to control crime, stating that the morale of the police has weakened and criminals are operating fearlessly under political protection. “Even those who are supposed to be protected are now being targeted,” he added.

He further said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his Delhi-based leadership are completely disconnected from ground realities. According to Chugh, the government is busy with advertisements and hollow claims while the law and order situation continues to deteriorate.

The AAP government has turned ‘Rangla Punjab’ into a land of bloodshed,” he remarked.Chugh urged the Governor and senior officials to take immediate and strict action to restore law and order in Punjab and ensure justice for victims. He asserted that BJP will continue to raise this issue at every level, including the national platform.
