Bali stated that the Sanatan Seva Samiti has been actively working across Punjab and had rendered significant service during the floods last year. He said that the Punjab government has always respected festivals of every religion and section of the society.

Highlighting past initiatives, he mentioned that the government successfully organised state-level celebrations of Parshuram Jayanti, the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, and a state-level Christmas event. He added that preparations are now underway to commemorate the 650th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Ramdas Ji.

He also noted that the Chief Minister personally attended Eid celebrations in Malerkotla and that Bhagwan Valmiki Ji Jayanti was celebrated last year and will be observed with even greater enthusiasm this year. Sharing details of the upcoming event, Bali said that prominent Hindu saints from across Punjab will participate, and a large number of devotees are expected to attend.

All arrangements for the event are being managed by the organising teams. Renowned Singer Roshan Prince will also perform at this event. He further informed that senior leaders, including Manish Sisodia, Aman Arora, Minister Lal Chand Kataruchakk, Mahinder Bhagat, Barinder Goyal, and several MLAs, will attend the event as special guests.

Bali expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and contribute towards building a better society through the values of Sanatan. Speaking on the occasion, Sanatan Seva Samiti National President Vijay Kumar Sharma said that the organisation had urged the government to celebrate Hindu festivals in collaboration with them, and appreciated Deepak Bali for initiating this effort.

He announced that the Hindu Nav Varsh Mahotsav will begin from Pathankot on April 12 with active support from the Punjab government. Sharma thanked the Punjab government, the Chief Minister, and Aam Aadmi Party Punjab President Aman Arora for acknowledging their request and implementing it.
