In view of the upcoming Progressive Punjab Investors' Summit 2026, scheduled from March 13 to 15 at Plaksha University, Mohali, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal held a detailed review meeting today at the university campus with GMADA Chief Administrator Mrs. Sakshi Sawhney and SSP Harmandeep Singh Hans.

The officers deliberated extensively on the preparations and issued necessary directions to ensure smooth entry on all approach roads leading to the venue. Proposed parking arrangements near the university campus were also discussed to facilitate hassle-free commuting for participants.

The Deputy Commissioner requested the GMADA Chief Mrs Sakshi Sawhney to extend full support to the District Administration in completing all infrastructural and logistical arrangements well in time. DC Komal Mittal also reviewed traffic regulation and security measures with SSP Harmandeep Singh Hans to streamline the movement and secure entry of investors, industrialists, dignitaries, and media personnel.

Parking plans were finalized keeping in view the anticipated footfall and arrival of guests. The Deputy Commissioner informed that the district administration, in coordination with concerned departments and stakeholders, has almost finalized the traffic routes approaching the venue to minimize congestion and avoid traffic snarls.

She added that Mohali is fortunate to host such a prestigious, high-level event, which is expected to significantly benefit the district by attracting new investments and boosting industrial growth.
