To upgrade hospital infrastructure and ensure better medical care within local communities, Shri Mandip Singh Brar, Health Secretary, Chandigarh Administration, visited Civil Hospitals in Manimajra, Sector 22, and Sector 45. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen secondary healthcare services so that high-quality medical facilities are readily available to the public, reducing the need to visit larger hospitals.

During the visit, Shri Mandip Singh Brar interacted with patients and medical staff to understand their concerns and review the services being provided. He stressed the need to increase specialist doctors, expand surgical services, and make better use of available space for future development.

Reaffirming the Administration’s commitment to accessible and efficient healthcare, the Health Secretary directed officials to prepare a clear action plan to upgrade infrastructure and improve services, ensuring greater convenience and better healthcare for residents at the community level.

Also present during the visit were Dr. Suman Singh, Director Health Services; Dr. Sadbhawna, Medical Superintendent; Dr. Paramjit Singh, Deputy Medical Superintendent; and other officials of the Chandigarh Administration.
