Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib on Saturday visited Shardha Mata Mandir Kaloosa and Shiv Mandir Ajar to review facilities and interact with members of the Pandit community. The visit aimed at assessing the on-ground requirements and ensuring better amenities for devotees and local residents.

During her visit to Shiv Mandir Ajar, the Deputy Commissioner held detailed interactions with the community members, who raised various issues including approach road access, drainage and other civic concerns. She gave a patient hearing to the members and assured them that all genuine issues would be addressed on priority with full support from the district administration.

At Shardha Mata Mandir Kaloosa, the Deputy Commissioner also interacted with devotees and community representatives, who apprised her of their concerns and requirements. She appreciated the efforts of the community in preserving religious and cultural traditions and reiterated the administration’s commitment towards facilitating necessary improvements at religious places.

The community members expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner for her visit and personally listening to their issues. The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Tehsildar Bandipora, AEE R&B Bandipora and other concerned officers during the visit.
