District Development Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik, today chaired a meeting to finalise arrangements for the launch of Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0, scheduled to be held on February 2, 2026, at Panchayat Ghar, Panassa, under the Aspirational Block Programme of NITI Aayog.

The meeting focused on reviewing the preparedness of all concerned departments to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the programme. Emphasis was laid on effective coordination among line departments and field functionaries for seamless implementation of the launch event.

Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 aims to achieve 100 percent saturation of key indicators in priority sectors including Health & Nutrition, Agriculture and Education. The initiative seeks to strengthen service delivery through enhanced community participation, awareness generation and grassroots-level engagement.

While addressing the officers, the DDC stressed the need for collective and coordinated efforts by all departments and local stakeholders to ensure that the objectives of the campaign are achieved and its benefits reach the intended population.

During the meeting, the DDC directed all departments to set up awareness stalls at the venue to disseminate information about their respective welfare schemes and services. She also instructed the Health Department to organise health screening camps for the public during the programme.

Further, she emphasised proper documentation of activities and directed the concerned officers to upload geo-tagged photographs along with complete and accurate details on the designated portal for effective monitoring and reporting. ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samyal, PO POSHAN Sudershan Kumar, CPO Narinder Kumar, ACD and other concerned officers were present at the meeting.
