On the occasion of National Voters’ Day, MY Bharat, Chandigarh, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, is organising a State/UT Level Voter Awareness Padyatra on 25th January 2026 at 9:00 AM, in association with the NSS Unit of Panjab University, Chandigarh. The event aims to promote voter awareness, democratic values, and ethical electoral participation, with special focus on youth and first-time voters. 

The programme will include a voter pledge, felicitation of first-time voters, and a walkathon to encourage informed and responsible voting. Young citizens, especially first-time voters, are invited to participate and contribute to strengthening democracy.
