Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore today chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) to review progress achieved under Mission YUVA in District Ganderbal. At the outset, Additional District Development Commissioner highlighted the progress achieved in processing of applications at various stages under Mission YUVA in the district.

While reviewing the progress of the scheme, DC directed the concerned department and banks to expedite the process of sanctioning, disbursing benefits, and extending all necessary handholding support to the beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.

He emphasised upon the Employment Department and training institutes to extend all necessary support to ensure smooth processing and continuous handholding of applicants. DC urged the concerned officers to expedite application processing and preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) to ensure timely financial assistance to beneficiaries.

Later, DC interacted with the recently recruited SBDU and BHD members, who shared their experience and responsibilities assigned in connection with implementation of Mission Yuva. He also urged the team to focus on quality disposal of pending cases and extend effective handholding support to applicants.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Manzoor Ahmad, General Manager, DIC Ganderbal; Cluster Head, J&K Bank, Assistant Director, Employment and AGM, NABARD.
