Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai today chaired a meeting of Krishi Udyamis (KUs) to review performance and deliberate on measures aimed at strengthening service delivery to farmers across the district. The DC informed that PM-KISAN KYC access has been provided to Krishi Udyamis, enabling them to facilitate farmers more effectively.

She directed the KUs to enhance their work output and maintain high service standards in the field. Emphasis was laid on the regular submission of daily performance reports. Krishi Udyamis were instructed to maximize service delivery in their respective areas and extend proactive support to farmers.

"Their performance will be assessed on the basis of farmer registrations, timely submission of daily reports and income generation,,"the DC said. The department will also organize capacity-building and technical training programs to further enhance their efficiency and service quality.
