Senior Congress leader and former Ludhiana Urban Congress President Pawan Dewan held a meeting with residents of Block J, BRS Nagar to understand their concerns regarding local issues and developmental needs. The meeting was organized by Kulbir Singh Neeta.

During the interaction, after listening to various issues raised by the residents, Pawan Dewan said that people are extremely distressed due to the policies of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, which had made tall promises but failed to deliver. He stated that the rising crime rate and frequent criminal incidents have created an atmosphere of fear among citizens.

The situation has deteriorated to the point where people now regret bringing the AAP government to power. He further added that none of the promises made by the AAP government have been fulfilled.

Even the commitment of providing ₹2,500 per month as old-age pension remains unfulfilled, and citizens have not received the existing ₹1,500 pension for several months. The promise of giving ₹1,000 per month to women also remains unmet, and the pending amount has now multiplied with interest.

Dewan emphasized that the countdown for the Aam Aadmi Party has begun and people will no longer fall for their false claims. Senior Congress leaders Inderjeet Kapoor, Brijmohan Kalia, Rajesh Aggarwal, Raman Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, Rahul Vig, Rohit Pahwa, Amarjeet Dhaliwal, Bhupinder Chugh, Lovely Chugh, Ishwar Prasad, Kamaldeep Singh, Bhavdeep Singh, and Amarjeet Juneja were also present on the occasion.
