Students from Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy visited the Central Instrumentation Laboratory of Lovely Professional University (LPU) under the guidance of Professor Monika Gupta.

The educational visit was organized as part of the MoU between the two institutions and the Disha Scheme, aimed at providing students with practical exposure to advanced analytical instruments. During the visit, students observed demonstrations and gained hands-on experience with major instruments including HPTLC, SEM, TEM, and DSC.

Experts from LPU’s Central Instrument Facility explained the working principles, applications, and maintenance of these instruments, enhancing the students’ understanding of analytical techniques used in pharmaceutical research and development.

The visit offered valuable insights into how such sophisticated technologies contribute to quality control, drug formulation, and biomedical studies. It also bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world laboratory applications.

Dr. Shailesh Sharma, Director of the College, expressed heartfelt thanks to the LPU officials and their expert team for their support and cooperation in facilitating the visit. The program was well coordinated by Mr. Sumer Sharma, Professor Neelam Sharma, and Professor Punam Gaba.
