The Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy Bela observed World Earth Day with enthusiasm through a drawing and sketching competition organized by Rotary Club Ropar Central and Rotaract Club Bela. The event saw the active participation of more than 30 students, who expressed their ideas on environmental protection, pollution control, and sustainable living through creative artwork.
The competition aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of preserving nature and adopting eco-friendly practices. The best entries were selected and the winners were awarded certificates in recognition of their creativity and efforts.
The event provided a platform for students to showcase their talent while also spreading an important social message. Director Dr. Shailesh Sharma appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and congratulated the winners.
He emphasized the need for collective responsibility in protecting the environment and encouraged students to take small but meaningful steps towards a greener future. He also thanked the Rotaract Club Bela for successfully organizing the event.
